As I stood on the shoreline watching the waves
I was giving God all the glory and praise
Worship was what came to mind
This Tuesday sunrise was really divine
To watch the sun appear for the day
As if inviting us to come and play
So that's precisely what we did
My husband and I swam like kids
But prior to that I stood alone
As if talking to God on the telephone
With the ocean massaging my bare feet
I prayed while enjoying a view so sweet
To pray on the beach
Waves within reach
Splashing my feet
While standing in His Presence that makes my heart beat
To begin the day in such a way
To still the body and hear Him say
This I have made for you
Be still and enjoy it among the other things you do
Grateful for my husband suggesting we watch the sun rise
Enjoying ocean beauty made by The most creative and wise
It was worship, fellowship and fun at play
Looking forward to doing this again on another day.
